Testing 123

I thought I'd start with a photo from Colorado, the state in which I was born. This was taken well after sunset and, as you can see, the clouds were spectacular. It is made more amazing by the fact that it is a long exposure so there is some smudging or blurring of the cloud edges.

My mother's family is from the small town of Ellicott which is about 25 miles east of Colorado Springs. When I look at this photo the first think I think of is the smell of the pure rocky mountain air on the warm summer night.

I will continue to post photos from my trips back to Colorado as I get a chance....
