Last weekend a "family issue" took me away to New Mexico. It was a difficult trip but I was able to break away for about 2 hours to take some photos. Because of the nature of this trip, some of these photos are very personal and significant to me. I put up a larger gallery too, if you want to see more click here.
This shot was total happenstance- I stopped to aid an injured snake on the road (unfortunately he was a gonner) and saw this amazing scene from the highway overpass. Check out the watchful raven on the power pole (click photo for a larger version).
The Old Galisteo Cemetery-
The San Miguel Mission- the oldest church in the USA, dating back to about 1610 or so. This was shot with a Lensbaby 3G-
Modern hotel in downtown Santa Fe done in adobe style-
Cholla cactus fruit- this is a composite blended together. Also shot with a lensbaby.

Thanks Ami! I have lots of stuff for stock but I never get to it!!! The one I sold to NG was on my old stock site....
