I have a few photos in the current Seattle Metropolitan Magazine. One article is about the incredible Belyea/Faigin home which I photographed for Johnston Architects. The other is a full page Whidbey Island beach photo in the Road Trips story.

Infrared
Wow, a whole new way of seeing the world this week- Infrared (IR) Photography! I sent my old Canon point and shoot camera in to modified to only take IR photos and as soon as it came in the mail I rushed over to the Kubota Gardens to do some test shots. IR makes the blue skies look dark and any foliage look bright white. Looking forward to doing many more....

Self Portraits!
Well, sort of. Always wanted to post these, can you see me? Great one for the kids - "where is the ghost guy." Taken after a commercial shoot in a small town in Eastern Washington on a VERY cold night. I love grain elevators!

Martin Prihoda in India
I am excited to share these images taken by my friend and mentor Martin Prihoda. He is an incredible commercial photographer from Vancouver, BC and is now based in India. This is a shot of Naga Baba, a naked Saddhus on the banks of the Ganges. Many more on his blog, Atomic Safari.

iPhone Friday
More fun iPhone shots, this time the same one processed different ways with apps. Most of these were done with Mill Color, Tiffen Photo xf and then run through Lo-Mob. Scroll all the way down to see the original iPhone shot for a good laugh. BTW- I took this on another warm and sunny Winter day in Seattle.

Bad Camera
This is what a photo from a bad digital sensor looks like:
And a crop so you can see the pixels (click for larger view).... camera in the trash can, hefty repair bill or a new art form? I'll let you decide, the choice is easy for me.
